WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

My studio is located in Mission Valley, San Diego with plenty of parking.


WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO HAVE A PREGNANCY PHOTO SHOOT?

The best time for a maternity session is between 27-34 weeks of pregnancy. The right time is different for every woman but I recommend not to wait for too long since some babies decide to come early.


WHEN TO GET IN TOUCH?

It's never too soon to book your maternity session, please book your session in advance! I recommend getting in touch with me at least two months prior to your preferred date to ensure availability. I will try my best to fit you into the schedule at the most convenient date.


MAY I BRING MY SPOUSE / MY OTHER KIDS WITH ME?

Of course! Your significant other is welcome to join you during the session AT NO EXTRA COST. If you have older kids, I am happy to take family pictures to celebrate this special moment in your family’s life.


DO YOU PROVIDE DRESSES/WRAPES/FABRICS?

I have a selection of beautiful sheer silks and other fabrics at the studio as well as mesh & rhinestone dresses, tulle gowns, bodysuits and crowns.

Additionally, I partner with a maternity gown rental company - Mamabump Rentals.
My arrangement with Mamabump is that they waive the rental fee for my clients (1 gown per client) in exchange for me sharing few pictures from the session with them.

The dress of your choice is shipped to you by the date you specify and you will have 5 days to return it.

Shipping - responsibility of mama-to-be.


HOW DO I GET READY FOR THE PHOTO SHOOT?  

  • Try not to wear tight underwear and clothing on the day of the session to prevent marks on your skin.

  • Get a manicure and a pedicure a day or two in advance. You might consider bringing your partner to get pedis with you - in my experience a lot of guys are insecure when asked to pose barefoot.

  • I strongly recommend using a professional makeup artist - text me if you need recommendations! At this time I can no longer accommodate makeups at my studio - please arrive ready.

  • I prefer if you do not use fake tanning sprays/lotions. Just let me know and I’ll make your skin look darker (magic of editing!)


EXTRA WEIGHT AND SKIN IMPERFECTIONS

My goal is for you to feel the most beautiful you've ever felt in your body. That is why you don’t have to worry about any of your insecurities. Professional photo retouching is included in your session. I specialize in the most comprehensive and detailed editing, and while I focus on creating a natural look I will edit your photos to your liking. 


THIS IS MY FIRST TIME POSING FOR A PROFESSIONAL PHOTO SHOOT

I will guide you through every step of the process, showing you how to pose in a way to flatter your new curves so that you look at your best. Even if this is your first time on set, I will make sure you feel comfortable and at ease.


DO I HAVE TO BE NUDE?

Not at all. All of my maternity sessions are customized and tailored to the needs of each client. Some clients prefer clean and simple artistic nude photographs and wraps, while others prefer to be fully clothed.


WHEN WILL MY IMAGES BE READY? Your final online gallery will be ready between 2 and 3 weeks after your session.


NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGE POLICY

Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs, once sent, cannot be returned there are no refunds, exchanges or credits. As soon as the digital files are submitted to the client through an online gallery, the sale is deemed final and nonrefundable. 

 

WHAT DOES THE PACKAGE PRICING INCLUDE?

  • A consultation with Olia through texts, to design your photoshoot specifically tailored to your needs and taste

  • Fully guided photo session with Olia

  • FULLY EDITED HIGH RESOLUTION DIGITAL IMAGES

    I am not one of those scam artists-photographers who charge a so-called “session fee” and then present a completely different pricing after the session. My maternity packages come with fully edited high resolution images (25+ for studio and 45+ for outdoor).

    I will not ask you to return to my studio to select images for purchase while trying to sweet-talk you into buying products and additional edits, I respect my clients’ time. I am transparent about my pricing and won’t surprise you with any other additional charges while holding your digital images hostage.
